| Περίληψη: | In an attempt to rationalise experiences whose perplexities continue to torment him, the distinguished philosopher Ludwig -we learn nothing of his surname, only that it is an impressive one- revisits the English convent where, many years before, he first glimpsed the red-headed girl at the window. She, he vaw told by the nuns, was mad; he refused to believe them, and unravelling the mysteries of the girl's identity and history became an obsession.
